Fujifilm has unveiled the FinePix Real 3D W3 digital camera. All photography lovers may employ this gadget to capture 3D images in 1920 x 1080p and videos in 720p resolution.
The device uses its dual Fujinon 3x optical zoom lenses, placed at 75mm from each other, and twin 10MP CCD sensors to deliver a life like output. The gadget offers users 2D Advanced Shooting modes as well. Integrating an RP processor which combines the left and right images into one image, it also comes with 3D Auto functionality that supports capture of 3D images.
“Last year, Fujifilm introduced the first real, complete solution for 3D digital photography, once again showing our commitment to the evolution of imaging technology,” affirmed Go Miyazaki, division president, Imaging and Electronic Imaging Divisions, Fujifilm North America. “With the new FinePix REAL 3D W3 digital camera, we have made 3D imaging more accessible to all consumers, enabling them to shoot in 3D HD and making it easy to view their photos and movies on most 3D TV systems.”
Fitted with a 3.5” high-resolution Autostereoscopic 3D widescreen LCD that exhibits 1150K resolution, the offering flaunts lenticular system that employs a row of convex lenses which produces a binocular parallax effect for a realistic 3D image. The High Luminosity Mode displays brighter, deeper and clearer pictures. The camera is embedded with a mini HDMI 1.4 port that allows connectivity to an HDTV.
Not only does it boast of Individual Shutter 3D shooting, but also permits photographers to shoot in different zoom ranges and color settings for each image simultaneously. Moreover, the FinePix Real 3D W3 is equipped with Tele/Wide Simultaneous, Two-Color Simultaneous and Dual-Sensitivity Simultaneous Shooting feature to enhance its productivity.
The One Touch Movie mode lets users switch between 2D or 3D functionality to capture images or movies. It accommodates Auto and Manual Parallax control as well as MyFinePix Studio 3D movie and photo editor. By choosing M or A mode, owners may manage shutter and aperture settings or control the depth of field, respectively. The P mode sets speed and aperture value automatically.
Photographers can choose from 13 different scene positions to suit the subject and environment. What’s more, the built-in Super Intelligent flash has the ability to set flash output and timing while capturing objects and background in bright, natural detail. Enthusiasts can print 5”x7” 3D image for $6.99 by logging onto Fujifilm’s website.
The FinePix REAL 3D W3 digital camera is slated to release in early September2010 for $499.95
