Sony Handycam DCR-SR21E launched in September 2011



Sony is going to release these two Handycam camcorders in September. The Sony Handycam DCR-SR21E is an easy-to-use ultra-zoom camcorder with a 57x optical zoom and the SteadyShot electronic image stabilization.Both camcorders are equipped with a 57x Optical Zoom lens by Sony and offer a powerful 67x Extended Zoom range. They has a flip-out 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD and built-in LED video light to illuminate indoor scenes or night-time shots. These light and compact camcorders sport a 2.25mm (1/8 Type) CCD image sensor, a 56x optical zoom lens (67x extended zoom), a built-in LED video light,
The DCR-SX21E and DCR-SR21E feature SteadyShot, Face Detection, Intelligent AUTO mode that recognizes up to 18 different scene combination. They both support Memory Stick PRO Duo, and SD/SDHC memory cards, and the  video camera is able to record up to 61-hour of Standard Definition video on its built-in 80GB hard disk drive.
The SteadyShot image stabilization keeps things crisp and clear, reducing the effect of camera shake when you’re shooting handheld. Focus, exposure, colour and other settings are adjusted automatically, while menus and settings are accessed with a joystick located next to the articulated 2.7-inch monitor. The Sony Handycam DCR-SR21E will be launched in September 2011.
